We decided to omit the usual butter situation out of our recipe and replace it with almond butter for a more roasted, nutty flavour profile with the added benefits of fat soluble vitamins such as Vitamin E, and minerals such as magnesium and copper.

We kept the coconut oil & coconut milk because, would it reaaallly be #keto without it? But more importantly because of the medium-chain-triglycerides (or MCT’s) naturally present that provide an energy source that is super efficient & easy for the body to utilize to get you up and going in a hurry. Ingredients

1 shot espresso (1 fl oz)

6.7 fl oz hot water

2 tbsp coconut milk

1/2 tbsp almond butter (if you don't have almond butter use an extra half tbsp coconut oil

1/2 tsp vanilla bean, or other spice of preference

Cinnamon to sprinkle on top

2 drops of liquid stevia (if you want to keep it keto, if not use 2 tsp maple syrup or coconut sugar)

1/2 tbsp coconut oil

1. Fill you blender cup with 6.7 fl oz of hot water.

2. Top with you espresso shot and all other ingredients except cinnamon.

3. Blend on high for 5 seconds.

4. Pour into mug and sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy your supercharged brain energy alll day!
